Our Balcony Bar overlooking the Thames is the perfect spot for drinks receptions and work meetings, while our lower level Glass Terrace and Thames View spaces would be the ideal space for birthday celebrations or post-work drinks. With a fantastic range of food and drink options, we will ensure your event is perfectly catered for.
Boasting the best views in the building, our private Balcony Bar spans across the entire top floor. Book the entire area for show stopping social occasions and large group gatherings, or reserve one of our comfy couches for more intimate dinners away from the hustle and bustle of our lively bar below. Boasting it’s own private bar you’ll not need to walk far for cocktails, tipples and pints.
One of the most favourable areas in the Tavern, our Glass Terrace, spread across the main bar with direct access to our Thameside garden terrace, is the perfect spot for your next event.
We’re lucky enough to boast not one, but TWO lower level private hire spaces. Our Thames View area, featuring large glass windows with a scenic view over the Thames, is a wonderfully versatile space that can be altered to suit your requirements. Take advantage of our leather booth seating and easily created dancefloor space, perfect for engagement parties, birthdays and large dinner gatherings!
Unfortunately our private room does not have access to it’s own sound system to play your own music.
You can download the Young’s On Tap app, however, to queue your favourite tunes from your phone!
Yes, there is a flat screen TV, which can be connected to via HDMI.
The Balcony Bar is not a fully private room as it overlooks the main bar. Please also note that this room is our only route to the toilet for other customers.
Unfortunately, as the Balcony Bar is not fully private, we are not able to allow DJs or live music.
You are more than welcome to bring your own case, please just let us know ahead of time.
Unfortunately we do not allow external catering, however, our Head Chef would love to work with you to create the ideal food for your wedding.
Full menu choices, plus special dietary requirements are agreed 10 days in advance, so you’ve plenty of time.
Feel free to decorate the space with banners/bunting/balloons etc. We just ask that you take these down at the end of the night, and avoid glitter/confetti.
No, there is no free parking at the Nine Elms Tavern. You may be able to find paid parking on the street in the surrounding area, or the car park at Waitrose near by.
We are just a short walk from Battersea Power Station underground so the tube is always a good option when visiting us!
We have a disabled access lift to the first floor.
Yes, we welcome well behaved dogs, as long as they remain on a lead, and not on the furniture.
Yes, children are welcome as long as they are supervised at all times. However, we do advise that during our peak trading hours, it may not be advisable to bring the little ones along with you, for your/their own comfort.
